The Fort Walton Beach Heritage Park & Cultural Center is hosting Haunted History Tours, based on authentic local history, folk stories and spooky downtown historic sites, this Friday and Saturday night, October 30th and 31st. One tour will be conducted on the 30th at 8:30 p.m., and two will be
conducted on the 31st at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Tours are limited to 50 people each; early sign-up and ticket purchase is encouraged. Pre-sale tickets are available during museum hours at the Indian Temple Mound Museum for $8.00 per adult and $5.00 per child. On tour nights, tickets can be purchased starting at 6:00 p.m. outside the entrance to the Indian
Temple Mound Museum, where tours will begin. All tour participants should arrive by 6:15 for the first tour and 8:15 for the second tour. On Halloween Night, Saturday, October 31st, additional tickets to join a paranormal investigation and ghost hunt with Fort Walton Paranormal will be available for $10, all ages. Investigation sites will include the Indian Temple Mound and surrounding museums and grounds. The program will begin immediately following the conclusion of the 8:30 p.m. Haunted History Tour. All funds raised from ticket sales will go to support the purchase of new museum display cases.
