CALL TO ARTISTS:
Full Circle Gallery would like to invite artists in our community and around the world to participate in SOS (Save Our Shore), an exhibit in reaction to the Gulf oil spill.
The show will be August 14th-August 28th with a closing reception on August 28th from 6:00pm-8:00pm. The goal of this show is to give artists and viewers a venue to express their different ideas, feelings and issues about the Gulf oil spill. In this way we can learn from each other and work towards a positive solution to this tragedy.
If you would like to exhibit a piece in this show, please bring the artwork to the Full Circle Gallery, 29B Eglin Pkwy SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL on August 10th-14th from 4:00pm-6:00pm along with the submission form (PDF: 132kb) and a 3-5 sentence artist statement. If you do not live locally, you are welcome to ship your piece. In this case, you will need to print the submission form and send it along with a check with funds for return shipping. If your piece is sold during the show, your check for shipping will be voided and a check for payment will be sent. If the check is not sufficient to ship the piece back, we will contact you and the hold the piece at the gallery for one month. After this time, the piece will become property of Full Circle Gallery.Each person is allowed one submission no larger than 24x36 inches. Submissions can be in any medium.
All pieces must be at the gallery by 6:00pm on August 14th, ready to hang with wires or you will not be able to participate in the exhibit. If your piece is not ready to hang, it will not be accepted. If you have any questions, please e-mail fullcirclegallery@gmail.com or call us at (850)362-8041.
