Historic Downtown Fort Walton Beach is a great little area offering eclectic shops, fine boutiques, jewelry, art, antiques, surf, sail and skate gear. There are several award- winning restaurants featuring a variety of choices and nightclubs with live entertainment. It is home to Northwest Florida Ballet, The Indian Temple Mound and Fort Walton Beach Cultural Center, The Art and Design Society, The Emerald Coast Science Center and The Landing. The Landing is a public park with a boat ramp, day docks, amphitheater & playground and hosts events through out the year.

Dance Class for Newbies from 7-8pm at Emerald Coast Dancesport. Bring in a receipt from any downtown FWB artist, shop, or restaurant dated 6/17/11 and enjoy a fun 25 minute Latin dance class free!!! (or pay $5 cash at door without receipt). Get ready for the Latin festival!!
