Welcome to Downtown Fort Walton Beach


Historic Downtown Fort Walton Beach is a great little area offering eclectic shops, fine boutiques, jewelry, art, antiques, surf, sail and skate gear. There are several award- winning restaurants featuring a variety of choices and nightclubs with live entertainment. It is home to Northwest Florida Ballet, The Indian Temple Mound and Fort Walton Beach Cultural Center, The Art and Design Society, The Emerald Coast Science Center and The Landing. The Landing is a public park with a boat ramp, day docks, amphitheater & playground and hosts events through out the year.

Quick Notes from The Art Lair


A few of our members requested an extension for the Clown Show turn in - The new deadline is Wednesday, September 14.

You can turn in work to the Art Lair on Tuesday and Wednesday 3-6pm.

The reception is Friday, September 16, 6-8pm.

The next meeting of the Cartoon Club is Tuesday, September 13 - starting at 6pm.

The Photography Club meeting is Wednesday, September 14 - starting at 6pm. Our speaker is Savannah Chastain.

Savannah is a local photographer that has spent the last two years with the non-profit organization Photogenx.

Photogenx uses media to bring awareness to social injustice issues around the world. The meeting is open to members and non-members.

The Jewelry workshop scheduled for Thursday, September 15 has been moved to Thursday, September 22, 6-8pm.

Piper, the instructor, will be out of town on the 15th.
