What to Bring – A laptop with Photoshop already installed. Download a demo copy of photoshop from Adobe if you don’t have your own copy. Please make sure Photoshop is already installed before attending.

Dates – Saturday, April 2 – 10am-noon
For Children ages 5-10. The children will make paper kites in two different styles and will decorate the kites as they wish.

The Making of Yin
In copying the “Yin” painting, you will learn layout design as well as several painting techniques to achieve textures and blending. Creativity and alternative perceptions of this painting are encouraged. At the end of the series, students will leave with their own version of “Yin”. No experience is preferred as this workshop is geared towards Beginners and will take you step-by-step through the process of creating your own Masterpiece!
All students must bring their own painting supplies and easel. Students have a choice to use either Acrylic or Oil paint. We will not be inter-mixing the two mediums within one painting, so please have all of your paints to be of the same type – Acrylic or Oil.
Class Length – 3 class periods – 1pm-3pm

Let’s Make Kites
The kites will hang in the adult’s “Kite Show” at the Art Lair April 15 – May 7.
Each child receives a participation ribbon at the opening reception of the “Kite Show” on Friday, April 15 – 6-8pm.
