Oct 27- Speed Networking
I would like to share with you about a new group at the Ft. Walton Chamber to share with the downtown merchants. It’s called PowerLeads. It’s a networking group where we meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. The objective is to network and learn what everyone does, in detail so that we can refer clients to each other. It’s only been started in the last 2 months and I have already been receiving business from this. We have a Speed Networking event coming up at the Hampton Inn on Okaloosa Island on October 27 at 5:30pm. We will limit the event to 30 or 40 participants. It’s the same idea as speed dating where you sit with every person and you each have two minutes to say who you are, what you do, why you came and what type of clients/business you are looking for. After the speed session, we’ll have wine, beer and appetizers so that you can network with the folks that you met in the two minute sessions.
