We'll have great fun, just like we did last year -- so mark your calendar, make your plans, and join us on September 25!
We'll have canine-centered arts and crafts and informational booths, lots of freebies and giveaways, a doggy parade, wiener races, and more. Last year we had over 1,000 well-behaved dogs and their families attend this fun-filled family day with an emphasis on your best friend.
All well-behaved dogs over 6 months of age are welcome. Proof of rabies vaccination is required, and there is an admission fee of $3 per dog.
As an added bonus, the Northwest Florida Daily News will announce the winners of the 2011 Pet of the Year Calendar Contest! Come find out if your favorite pet is destined for greatness as one of the winners!
Dog Daze benefits Alaqua Animal Refuge, RUFF (Rescue Unwanted Furry Friends), and PAWS (Panhandle Animal Welfare Society). It is sponsored by Petland, Tijuana Flats and the Northwest Florida Daily News Newspapers in Education Program. Other sponsorship opportunities are available (contact Patti Bohnsack at 244-8191).
