Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival

Get ready for the Pirate Uprising at the 55th Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The events are from June 3rd to the 7th, 2010,  and include local and regional bands, food, arts and crafts, pirates, a torchlight parade, children’s activities, fireworks and more.
Plan ahead to reserve your Billy Bowlegs Festival vendor booths.  Click the button above for the vendor application.  Please consider some of our upcoming events if you'd like to advertise your product or service to attendees at Dog Daze, the Emerald Coast Health Fair, or any of our other popular events.

Thursday, June 3
  • Pirate Walk Downtown (trick or treating, "Pirate-style") - sponsored by the merchants of Historic Downtown Fort Walton Beach (4 to 7 pm)
  • NEW THIS YEAR!  Billy Bowlegs Block Party -- come and meet Capt. Billy and his crew -- check out his pirate ship parade float - have your photo taken with our local pirates.  Ferry Street (between 98 and First Street) - in conjunction with the Pirate Walk.
  • 2nd Annual Billy Bowlegs Pub Crawl - visit participating clubs/restaurants, beginning at 7 pm. 
BILLY BOWLEGS PIRATE FESTIVAL AT FORT WALTON LANDING (139 BROOKS STREET, DOWNTOWN FORT WALTON BEACH):
Friday, June 4 - Festival Hours: 3 PM to 10 PM
  • Continuous entertainment kicks off with live entertainment and children's activities, food vendors, arts and craft vendors
  • 7 PM - Skirmish between Capt. Billy and Mayor Mike of Fort Walton Beach
  • 8 PM - Fireworks over Santa Rosa Sound (Fireworks displays being provided by Pyro Shows)
Saturday, June 5 - Festival Hours: 10 AM to 9 PM
  • Continuous entertainment with food, children's activities, arts and crafts vendors. 
  • Approximately 4 PM -- anticipated landing of Capt. Billy and his crew
  • ANNOUNCEMENT OF TREASURE HUNT WINNERS!
  • DON'T MISS THIS YEAR'S ENTERTAINMENT HEADLINER on Saturday night!
Monday, June 7 - Billy Bowlegs Torchlight Parade: 8 PM
  • South end of Eglin Parkway northward to Uptown Station
  • Parade float lineup to be published in Monday, May 31, edition of Northwest Florida Daily News and right here on the Chamber website.
