Get ready for the Pirate Uprising at the 55th Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The events are from June 3rd to the 7th, 2010, and include local and regional bands, food, arts and crafts, pirates, a torchlight parade, children’s activities, fireworks and more.
Look what's tentatively planned for the Festival --
Thursday, June 3rd - Pirate Walk (trick-or-treating, "Pirate-style") sponsored by the merchants of Historic Downtown Fort Walton Beach (4 - 7pm)
2nd Annual Billy Bowlegs Pub Crawl - visit participating clubs/restaurants, beginning at 6 pm, Thursday, June 3th.
BILLY BOWLEGS PIRATE FESTIVAL AT FORT WALTON LANDING (139 BROOKS STREET, DOWNTOWN FORT WALTON BEACH):
· Friday June 4th - Festival Hours: 3:00 PM-10:00 PM
- Continuous entertainment kicks off with live entertainment and children’s activities, food vendors, arts & craft vendors
- 7:00 PM - Skirmish between Capt. Billy and Mayor of Ft. Walton Beach
- 8:00 PM - Fireworks over Santa Rosa Sound
· Saturday June 5th - Festival Hours: 10:00 AM—9:00 PM
Continuous entertainment with food, children's activities, arts and crafts vendors.
