the library’s lobby the entire month of August. Runar's interest in
photography began while he was stationed in Guam with the
United States Air Force. He has won several prizes in nature

colored portraits.
Runar has been successful in winning prizes in both national and local

field in Germany, he became a photojournalist focusing on military
activities and human interest stories. His photos and articles were
published in the Stars and Stripes newspaper, the Intercom, a

Runar has been successful in winning prizes in both national and local
photo exhibitions. Recently he won Best of Show for a photo of a
Cleopatra Calla-Lilly, and first place for a black and white print of a
lighthouse.
