The Fort Walton Beach Public Library invites you to enjoy an exhibit of artwork by Lars Runar through October in the library lobby. Mr. Runar will present a solo show of color and black and white photographs. Lars has been successful in winning prizes in both national and local photo exhibitions. This show will concentrate on the humorous side of life and a few computer manipulated images.
Lars's interest in photography began while he was stationed on Guam with the US Air Force. He won several prizes in nature photography in local competitions and began doing hand colored portraits.
He has been successful in winning prizes in both national and local photo exhibitions.
Recently, he won Best of Show for a photo of a Cleopatra Calla-Lilly, and first place for a black and white print of a lighthouse.
The library is located at 185 Miracle Strip Parkway, in Downtown Fort Walton Beach at the corner of Eglin Parkway. Parking is on First Street to the North and Ferry Road to the
East.
